Qualifications: With her grounding in banking and finance control, Cheryl brings skills and knowledge in Computer applications, computerised accounting, secretarial and reception duties, MYOB, Website Design and Accounting to the Company. TAFE qualifications gained have enhanced these skills.

Employment history : 21 years - Commonwealth Bank; Supermarket Supervisor; book-keeper and Accounts clerk.

Classer/Store Manager
Jim Stanley

Jim commenced employment with A.M.M.O.Ltd in October 1989.

Qualifications: Jim attended Narrandera TAFE to obtain his Professional Wool Classer’s Certificate before learning mohair classing on the job at A.M.M.O.Ltd

Jim has recently taken on a more active role in the overall supervision of the warehouse and its processes, as well as taking a key role at Auction and sale time. He has taken over the representation of AMMO at Angora Industry events and is still available for on-farm classing appointments.

Employment History: Jim worked as a storeman in a manufacturing firm for 10 years and worked for a local shearing contractor from 1985 to 1989 prior to commencment with AMMO.

Senior Technical Officer
Craig Clancy

Craig commenced employment with A.M.M.O.Ltd in August 1990

Qualifications: Certificate of Technology (wool handling and wool production – specialty fibres included) Melbourne College of Textiles 1985 & 1986. Associate Diploma of Applied Science (Wool and Fibre Marketing), completed at the Melbourne College of Textiles in December 1994.

Employment History: Craig was employed by a Gippsland based shearing contractor (1979-1985) and he was then employed by a mainstream wool broker operation (Elders) as a mohair classer. Later he was promoted to overseer of their mohair classing department from 1987 – 1989 where his role involved quality assurance. He also worked in wool typing and valuing in their objective interlotting department (1989 – 1990).

Craig has now moved to a permanent part-time position with AMMO Ltd as its Snr Technical Adviser - stepping away from the management role following recent health issues. Craig's role is to assist with classing and to monitor lines and consignments and offer advice to directors and producers regarding uniformity of lines and classing procedures. He assist Jim at Auction and is available to producers for advice on shearing and flock composition.

Involvement with Angoras: Craig has been involved with mohair growing and angora breeding in East Gippsland with his parents since 1976. At various stages throughout this time, their angora numbers exceeded 500 animals. their current flock of 200 comprises African and Texan bloodlines.
