NEWSLETTERS
A newsletter is produced and the end of each selling season (i.e. approx 4 per Year.) Information such as National & International Market Trends and prices is provided, advice on classing and preparation, a section for livestock ads, news, sale results and may also include an animal health section.

BROKERAGE
A.M.M.O. Ltd acts as a Broker on behalf of the mohair producers it represents. Classed fibre prepared by Professional Technical Staff is offered to the Trade at the completion of each pool. Proceeds (including GST if appropriate) are distributed to producers once the appropriate charges applicable to the producer have been deducted.

GROWER EDUCATION & FIELD DAYS
Expert free advice on clip preparation and consignment is freely available as well as feedback on market & industry trends. Classing preparation Workshops and industry promotion days are conducted either at the Narrandera warehouse or at locations central to an interested group of producers. Our staff will attend to provide training & advice.

Other Services we can offer

CLASSING APPOINTMENTS:
A.M.M.O. Ltd offers its producers instore classing appointments where the producer brings his clip to the store and stays to watch it being classed.
Producers are encouraged to avail themselves of this service as it involves all facets of store classing and preparation of their clip. Valuable information and advice regarding individual clips is provided and this service is offered to A.M.M.O.Ltd clients free of charge. A.M.M.O. Ltd staff may also attend your shed at shearing time to class on-farm. (Costs apply).

ADVANCE PAYMENTS
To help producers with on-farm cash-flow, an advance payment of $2 per kilogram gross weight can be made on consignments delivered prior to the close of receivals of any season. Advance payment is made on condition that this payment amount is deducted from the final sale account and paid in the same manner as payments os sale proceeds. Should the total sale amount be less than the advance the producers becomes liable for any difference.

CLASSING REPORTS
We encourage producers to prepare their fibre to the required industry
standard. There are obvious financial benefits to well prepared clips ( i.e. well prepared fibre helps to maximise potential returns. Well prepared fibre also receives a lower classing charge.)
All producers who attempt to class to industry standards and include a detailed specification sheet/s will receive a personalised CLASSER'S REPORT from A.M.M.O.Ltd.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership of the Organisation, although not compulsory, entitles the producer to vote at Annual General Meetings and to nominate for Board positions if they so desire. Membership also entitles the producers to a ten cents per kilogram reduction in their Handling Charges. Memberships are from 1 July to 30 June each year with renewal notices sent out in June.
